# AMIWI Kinyarwanda Private Chef Service (8 Hours)

**Experience the rich flavors and traditions of Kinyarwanda cuisine in the comfort of your own home.** The **AMIWI Kinyarwanda Private Chef Service** is designed for special events, celebrations, family gatherings, and private cultural dining experiences—not everyday dining. Your private chef will help you plan your menu, shop for ingredients, and prepare your meal in your own kitchen, giving you an authentic opportunity to enjoy and participate in the culinary traditions of Rwanda.

**20% of the $500 service fee supports the AMIWI and Afroblend partnership:** 10% benefits **AMIWI (Abatuye Milwaukee Wisconsin n’Inkengero)** to support cultural preservation and community programs, while 10% goes to **Afroblend as a technology fee.**

### Your Private Chef Experience Includes:

* **Up to 8 hours of private chef service**
* Menu consultation and planning
* Ingredient list and shopping assistance
* Preparation of traditional and contemporary Kinyarwanda dishes
* Cooking in your residence using your kitchen
* Food packaged and ready for you to serve
* Labeled cooking pans for easy identification

**Featured dishes may include:**

* **Isombe** — cassava leaves with your choice of meat or vegetarian
* **Ubugali**
* **Imyumbati** — cassava
* **Igitoke** — green plantains (matoke)
* **Brochettes**
* **Ibishyimbo** — beans
* **Agatogo**
* **Igisafuriya**

The **8 hours may be completed in one session or divided into two 4-hour sessions**—with the first session focused on planning and shopping and the second on preparing the food.
